Winter Canal, by the Hermitage, St. Petersburg, Russia. 2002. Photo Art.
I found this composition and design to be so perfect geometrically. Then I just really had fun playing with the colors. I only intensified the ones that were there--it was a cold icy day, and the chunks of ice on the river were reflecting off the buildings and the sly.
I totally agree! In fact with the perspective, lighting and the shadows, this is perfection! It is so amazing, it could be an oil painting! I could see this on the jacket cover of a novel!

you are SO kind and I love your appreciation of my work! I love this too--I had so much fun playing with adjusting it, and when these colors appeared, it just seemed like WOW.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
